There are some people that come into your life that offer a safe space to be yourself. That person is Danielle Damrell. Just got off my author interview with her and I have to say it was such a comfortable experience for me. As many of you know, this month has been difficult at best. I had sent Danielle a message the day before letting her know that my head and my heart still weren't working together and that I hoped the time together wouldn't be a waste of her time. Her email back to me was so supportive, that I literally felt her love and support while reading it, and I knew the call today would be fine. It was. It was comfortable, it was easy, it was calming and heck, Danielle even said l spoke with clarity. For someone who broke the rules, meaning I didn't write anything at the retreat (thanks to [my friend] I was on a push to break a rule a day) and I didn't prepare for the call today, I learned today that if I just trust myself and remember my why, my life story and how far l've come, I will make an impact for generations to come.
